The PetSafe® Spray Bark Control Collar (PBC00-11005) effectively stops barking when it is worn.


The Bark Control Collar has a unique patented sensor that provides the most reliable bark detection available. The Bark Control Collar uses both vibration and sound sensors (dual-detection) to discriminate each bark from other external noises.


A burst of lemon-scented spray is emitted to deter barking only if both the vibration from vocal chords and the sound from the bark match the same criteria.

I found that being able to rent the delux spray dog collar proved to be very effective for us. It gave us a chance to try the product on our dog before we committed to spending such a large amount of money.
Unfortunately for us, as we have a young determined kelpie, the spray collar appears to not be the right product for her. Our dog Lola, is a bit calmer with the collar on, but still continues to bark despite the sprays. I have been told that spray collars are less effective on working dogs so that is something to consider, and means a rental option is great for owners.
