Frontline Plus For Dogs

Treat your pet with Frontline Plus to kill all of its inhabiting fleas twelve (12) hours after application, and ticks two days after that. Frontline Plus also effectively eliminates ticks that may be carriers of Lyme Disease. It contains Fipronil, an ingredient that spreads all over your pet's body, killing off fleas and ticks by paralyzing their nervous system. Lyme Disease, a tick-borne disease, is therefore prevented.

Frontline Plus also contains methoprene, an ingredient that eliminates flea eggs & larvae, killing fleas before they develop. All in all, a month-long flea and tick protection from a topical solution you can buy over the counter.

Contraindications/Warnings

> Frontline Plus should not be used on puppies and kittens under 8 weeks of age.

> Fleas already present in pets prior to treatment with Frontline Plus may be observed as active after treatment.

> This is actually a sign that the active ingredients are working, as the fleas become hyperactive before dying.

> Also, fleas that may be present even after treatment maybe those that have been laid before treatment. Regular use of Frontline Plus will effectively break the fleas' lifecycle.

> Do not apply Frontline Plus more than the label recommends.

> A once-a-month application is recommended for total flea and tick protection, especially in areas where reinfestation risk is high. Where reinfestation is not a risk, Frontline Plus can be applied once every 2 or 3 months.

> Some animals may be sensitive to active ingredients in Frontline Plus. You may need to consult your vet.

> Consult your vet before using on pets that are debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or are already on medications.

> Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Call a doctor when ingested. Wash eyes and skin with plenty of soap and water; contact a physician if irritation continues.

> Store in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children, pets, and away from food stuffs.
