The SD-2100 uses NiMH rechargeable batteries in the waterproof collar and thus Saves you money in ongoing battery costs - you only need to recharge every 2-3 months.

Used properly, the collar receiver’s electronic stimulation serves as an annoying sensation that your dog finds undesirable. Your dog quickly learns to shut off the stimulation by staying away from the fencing boundary.

Once your dog is properly trained, he will enjoy hours of freedom within his new boundaries, and you will enjoy the comfort of knowing that he has learned to stay safely in your yard.

The receiver is attached to a nylon collar strap that your dog wears. The receiver sounds the warning tone and gives an annoying sensation should your dog attempt to leave the yard.

Your collar receiver is rechargeable, and is recharged by placing the collar receiver on the charging cradle located on top of your transmitter.

We run our system around the fence line of our 2.5 acre property and underground where the gates are. Before buying the product, I rang the company and received some very helpful advice in relation to the product itself. The product was easy to install, and worked as expected out of the box. The only negative was the poor diagrams in the installation manual. After installing the SD-2100, I rang the company again and received helpful advice on training the dog.
