Border collie that just wouldnt stop herding horses and cattle ,never return to owner ,just a few days with collar and very carefull training ,dog now returns and stays around house ,still locked up at night ,very happy with the early results,dog 3 years old and wish had done earlier,only had to use at a very low no. 2 level,still allowing dog to be itself and herd when we allow but she at least comes back ! My red nose terrier is very excitable when my wife comes home from work or barks consistently at our horses. After just 2 afternoons on level 2 he now knows how much to say " hi " and when enough is enough. The horses can now walk past our house yard without being harassed. He now sits and waits patiently for his dinner so this is also a bonus.

When I first put this on him, I accidently had the button on 8 – the highest level. He barked and I hit the button as per the instructions but the poor boy got such a shock, all 4 paws literally left the ground and he ran around and around to find out what had happened.

He does not get hit every time he barks as there are times it is warranted. We love our bark controller which has saved our sanity and relieved the neighbours as well.

It's not a magic button, you still have to be consistent with your training. And if used correctly the collar is an excellent training tool with fast results. Review by Rebecca

My husband and I have put 4 years of hard consistent training into our 4 year old Staffie. Unfortunately he gets very excitable around other dogs and also has a very strong prey drive. (Something food and positive reinforcement doesn't fix) And as a result his recall and control is not 100%. After 2 days of using the collar... his 'heel' command has gone from 80% to 98%. And all other commands also improving remarkedly. Reaction times are a lot quicker.

I would recommend using a professional first, if used incorrectly the collar could end up hurting rather than helping your beloved pet. (Posted on 20/09/11)

I was very hesitant to use a static collar for my dog (lab x boxer) but we were at the stage where it was a drastic measure or having to find him a new home. After using the collar for 1 session he was like a different dog. During the session I only used the static correction twice one level 1 after the audible warning and after this all he needs is the audible warning.

The collar and controller are very well made and very easy to use. I would highly reccommend this product. (Posted on 2/09/11)
